Wild creatures like giraffes, lions, and tigers, a broad number of birds, the most recent rides, and even snow will be among the attractions of the 100-hectare stop that will include a safari in the highlands of Carmen, Cebu.

Michel J. Lhuillier, the owner of the M. Lhuillier chain of pawn shop stores and ML Kwarta Padala settlement focuses, said he needs everything finished before the recreation center is opened to people in general public.

He intends to open by January or February 2018.

“It isn’t yet prepared. I need individuals to go there and say ‘Goodness!’ It should dependably have that wow impact,” he included, revising posts that turned out through social media networking sites saying the safari had begun working last April.

Among the plans for the adventure park will be an ice machine to give Cebuanos a chance to encounter snow, Lhuillier said.

Carmen in Cebu is an hour from Cebu City and Lhuillier said it would just take 15 minutes to go up to the zone from the town center.

Safari creatures

Lhuillier is flying in around 70 percent of the creatures that will make up the zoo from Texas, the south of France, and Dubai, and they are set to arrive either on the 21st or 22nd of this current month. It will include approximately 60 sorts of creature species and a broad aviary.

The safari is propelled by the Singapore Zoo and Lhuillier had individuals rolled in from the city-state to help with the plan and preparing for the team that will man it.

“Indeed, even the general public from Singapore say our safari is better than (the one in) Singapore,” he likewise said.

The passage rate to the park will be P800 yet this does exclude the rides, which are the most recent accessible and incorporate the dive, thrill ride, and a zip line. You can book with us for a Cebu Safari Tour Package for a more convenient Cebu safari tour.

In a 50-square kilometer land area, about 1,260 hills are spread throughout the area. Others estimate it at more than 1,700 hills. These amazing hills are absolutely gorgeous even from afar. Chocolate Hills certainly continues to boost Bohol’s tourism.

Tourist arrivals in Bohol continue to rise even after the 2013 massive earthquake that has destructed some of its natural resources. After a few years, Bohol is rising again despite the calamity.

Chocolate Hills is not the only tourist spot in Bohol but, there is a whole lot more. One famous attraction is the man-made forest in Billar. Another is the presence of tarsier, a small (about 4-5 inches), furry, monkey-like animal. This cute mammal is found largely in Bohol.

Cebu is once again celebrating the feast of the Holy Child Jesus, Senior Santo Nino. Sinulog is celebrated every third Sunday of January. During this time, it is expected that Cebu will be very busy with numerous entertaining, religious, cultural, and traditional activities. Sinulog Festival is one of the grandest festivals in the Philippines. The Grand Parade is the highlight of the activity and street dancing is the main attraction. Lovely dancers, colorful costumes, endless parties, and happy Cebuanos and tourists make the festival livelier.

If you are celebrating Sinulog, take the time to read these reminders:

1. DO: Wear comfortable clothing and footwear.

The weather is now so unpredictable. Wear light-colored or loose-fitting tops and pair it with your lovely shorts. Sneakers, rubber shoes, or flat shoes should be worn.

DONT: Avoid wearing jeans and dark-colored clothes since it tends to absorb heat that could lead you to sweat a lot.

Never wear your high heels during Sinulog because it could make your feet sore as the activity involves a lot of walking by moving from one place to another. Avoid slippers because anyone can easily stomp on your feet.

2. DO: Hydrate yourself by drinking water.

It is best that you bring along a drinking water with you wherever you go. Yes, you can buy on the streets but, you never know when you need one. Plus, prices might soar high because you know, “Sinulog rate”.

DON’T: Never drink too much alcohol.

What is a street party without beer? Just remember, drink moderately and simply enjoy the day with your friends. Drink and celebrate but, know your limitations.

3. DO: Bring friends and secure a meeting place in case you get lost.

Make sure that you and your friends go together in groups. Or better yet, do the buddy system. For those bringing their children, let them wear an ID, in case they get lost.

DON’T: Avoid bringing valuables, especially gadgets.

Leave unnecessary things at home and bring only what you need such as cash (small amount), phone, water, snacks, umbrella, and handkerchief/hand towel.

4. DO: Wear vibrant accessories.

Aside from wearing your Sinulog shirt, accessorize with necklaces, headdress, or earrings. Just don’t overdo it.

DON’T: Never wear expensive jewelry.

The streets would be full of people and we can’t tell when pickpockets are going to attack. During this time, make sure not to flaunt your costly accessories because it can be eye-catching to thieves.

Prior to booking a vacation, most people consider the best time to go to the chosen destination. Travelers differ in preferences so, consider Cebu as your next travel destination. In Cebu, the best to visit is during Summer (March to May). This is because it is dry season and most visitors prefer coming to the area during humid days than wet season. However, Cebu has a lot of things to offer that even during rainy days, you can still go on with your chosen activities.

1. Shop at the 10th largest mall in the world.

SM Seaside City Cebu opened its doors to shoppers last November 2015. The mall features numerous restaurants and stores, Large Screen cinema, Director’s Club cinema, Bowling Center, and an Olympic-sized ice skating rink. Chill out at the rooftop Sky Park and don’t forget the mandatory photo at the “Cube”. Coming soon are Ocean Park, Seaside City Arena and Seaside Tower.

Parasailing, jet ski ride, banana boat ride, island picnic and snorkeling are some of the many water activities that you can still enjoy throughout the season. Or, you can head to Oslob for the whale shark watching. These activities require you to get wet so might as well pursue with these thrilling experiences.
