Great trip!

Great trip! Driver was waiting for us at exactly 5 a.m. Drove to Moal Boal where we received a briefing of the boat trip which made 3 stops for snorkeling. The sardine encounter alone was worth it plus we saw about 5 sea turtles. One young man on the boat crew was amazing. We rented a GoPro and was nice enough to take some amazing videos for us. The only glitch we experienced was at the first snorkeling spot we realized they didn’t have enough gear for everyone. They fixed it real quick by contacting another boat and they arrived within minutes with the gear. Like another person commented, recommend renting fins for 150 pesos. It made the snorkeling more enjoyable. After Moal Boal we went to canyoneering at Kawasato falls. We ate a local lunch included in the tour and it was delicious. No stomach issues after the lunch. We were then transported via motorbike to the starting point. Instead of hiking another 45 minutes we elected to pay an additional 500 pesos per person to zip line to the starting point. Highly recommend the zip line. The canyoning tour was great. All the guides were happy and playful yet helpful and professional. Our guide Danrib was amazing. He carried my wife’s iPhone the whole way took spectacular photos and videos. We ended up getting back to our hotel at 8 pm ( Mactan). Our driver was very polite and professional (Mr. Toto). Things to consider: we didn’t eat any breakfast and I think that helped with our stomachs during the boat ride. Recommend bringing a waterproof bag. The boat is open and when hitting some waves it’s almost guaranteed everything will get a little wet or totally soaked. Where sunscreen. For the sardine portion recommend no life vest so you can dive down into the sardine swarm. Be prepared for a 10 minute motorbike ride at the canyoning place. They put both of us on one bike. I was nervous but my wife seemed to enjoy it. Recommend bringing a change of clothes. You can change when done with canyoning. They have a place where you can change. 3-4 hours drive back to Mactan wouldn’t be comfortable when wet.

Wonderful private tour!

Wonderful day out and driver was very nice. We didn't realise that it was private tour until we arrived.

I suggest you to make sure you rent fins at the place where you do turtle search because without fins it hard to swim. They should be no more than 150 per pair.
